Laser cutting

CO2 LASER

Plexiled has top-of-the-range industrial laser plotters of various sizes. The most recent purchase was a full-size flatbed laser with a working field size of as much as 1500x3000 mm.

With faster and more stable operation and less waste, we are now able to fully meet the needs of our clients. On our lasers we cut in materials such as plexi, plywood, HIPS, PET.

Laser cutting is a technological process in which material is thermally separated by hitting a precise point with a hot beam. It is undoubtedly the most modern method of material processing. It is a non-contact method, so the material being processed is not even the slightest bit exposed to any damage or deformation.

Laser cutting is all about being able to produce extremely intricate and complex shapes on a whole range of materials, with total repeatability. By using a tool as high-precision as a laser to process the material, we are able to take care of even the smallest product detail.

The use of laser cutting in manufacture significantly reduces costs (the laser is a machine that cannot be depleted). As a tool that uses photon energy to separate material, it does not wear out. In many cases, the laser cutting process is the final process, as no post-processing is required.
